January 21, 1996 While working for the State of Florida Department of Corrections Louis Davis is accused of being asleep while was on duty . He denied the accusation and claimed he was being harassed by the person who made the accusation: Sgt. Hoyt. DERELICTION OF DUTY and DEFLECTION OF ACCOUNTABILITY
January 22, 1996 While on duty Louis Davis passed Sgt. Hoyt and said to him "lying motherfu%ker" Sgt. Hoyt asked Louis Davis to repeat his statement and that Louis Davis had returned to "stand in front of me and said your a "lying motherfucker" Sgt. Hoyt advised Louis Davis he had nothing to say and Louis Davis "approached me closer, I told Davis to get out of my face'" "Louis Davis took a fighting stance and jabbed two fingers to my nose and held them there stating 'you don't know me'" This incident was witnessed and reported by 3 other employees. Confrontational and Physically Combative.
February 8, 1996 Louis Davis is again caught sleeping on the job twice in one night. He denies being asleep and states that he was out of his patrol car and did not hear his radio. Witness reports from other employees state that Louis Davis was not out of his car. DERELICTION and DEFLECTION OF ACCOUNTABILITY
May 28, 1996 Louis Davis is suspended from work for 3 days for sleeping on the job.
July 9, 1996 Louis Davis is suspended for 5 days for sleeping on the job.
October 19, 1996 Louis Davis is arrested for retail theft from the Navy Exchange store. While working for the State of Florida Department of Corrections and with access to the discounted merchandise available at the Navy Exchange for his Army Reserve duty, he is stealing a car stereo. THIEF
November 12, 1996 Louis Davis entered a plea and was adjudicated guilty, ordered to serve 30 days in jail and paid court cost of $115.00.
December 26, 1996 Louis Davis is dismissed from the Department of Corrections for being arrested for retail theft from the Navy Exchange store on 10/19/96, for being caught sleeping on the job May 24, 1996 and July 9, 1996 and falsification of records to the Department of Corrections. THIEF AND LIAR
